Registration will be accepted through October 17, 2020. The number of registrations are limited, therefore registration may close earlier. You will receive confirmation of registration as well as start-up information by email.
Ordering Art Supplies:
Option 1: For a flat fee of $160 (plus tuition), Miss M will order all general supplies, as well as project-related supplies for the first five Challenges (covering one semester). She will have the supplies delivered to your home. This is ideal for families who currently have very few supplies on hand.
Option 2: Recommended for families with an established collection of basic supplies and art materials at home – Review our supply list HERE and purchase only the materials needed. The list covers several semesters of supplies. Therefore, order only those marked “General” as well as those marked “Challenges 1 through 5.”
With your confirmation email, you will receive options for picking up supplies left behind at our studio including your personal supplies from last spring. In addition, you will receive directions for ordering supplies that are no longer available at the studio.

General Information for Spring Semester
Art Challenge Online is an individualized foundation program for middle school students in grades 7 through 9, as well as older students beginning their art studies for the first time. Students will work on their assignments a minimum of two hours per week. Virtual studio time will be from 1:00 to 5:00 pm each Sunday, October 18, through January 17, 2021. During this time, students are free to interact with the instructor. They will document work completed, submit screenshots, receive encouragement, have a project critique, and receive new assignments. Assignments are arranged sequentially to expertly build skills in design, drawing, and painting. Students work on individual assignments at their own pace. On average, the entire program of 14 projects is completed across four semesters.

If you’re arriving from the north end of Pittsburgh, take the Ross Park Mall entrance across from Wendy’s (furthest south). Stay in the right lane. Fork to the right and travel to the three-way stop sign. Travel straight through the stop sign parallel to McKnight Road down a slight grade. You will see a blue-green slanted roof on the right which is the roof to our building. Pull into the first parking lot on the right. We are located in the building to the right of Salon ViVace. Use the side entrance by the outdoor steps.
If you’re arriving from the south, you also have the option of pulling into our building directly from McKnight Road, then walking up a pair of outdoor steps to our second floor studio.
